Mark Alan Moore

Mark Alan Moore, 61, of Avon passed away in his son's arms, at home on Monday, September 25, 2023.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and was the son of James and Sharon (Shelby) Moore.

Mark served his country in the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic.  Following the military, he worked as an HVAC installer and worked with Bolls Heating and Cooling for the past 20 + years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and had a very generous spirit.

Mark is survived by his wife, Amy Moore; son, Austin Moore of Avon; stepchildren Mandi and Mitchell Fox of Brownsburg; parents, James and Sharon Moore of Cloverdale; siblings, Mike (Brooke) Moore of Indianapolis, Matt (Laura) Moore of Bloomington, IN, Dawn Moore of Gosport, IN, and Michelle (Joe) Stanley of Gosport, IN. Also surviving are many extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Helton & Harris Funeral Home, 102 S. Indiana St. Danville, IN 46122.  A graveside will be held in the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., county road 525 S. Greencastle, IN 46135.
