Julie Lee Farmer, 74, of Mooresville, IN. passed away peacefully at Worthington Place of Camby,IN, Sunday evening with her loving family by her side.
Julie was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Robert Farmer and Mary “Juanita” Dunn. She graduated from Cascade High School with the class of 1968. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University in 1989 and continued her education to earn a Master’s degree of Arts in 1996 from Western Kentucky University. Julie worked several years as a licensed and board-certified counselor, psychologist, and therapist which culminated in her owning and operating Abundant Life Counseling.
Julie is survived by her sons, Rodger Herrin and Jason Herrin; daughter Heather Herrin ;Three grandchildren; Seven great grandchildren; brother-in-law Don Thompson; brothers, John R. Farmer and Mike Farmer (Jennifer Lynn). She was preceded in death by her sister, Patty Thompson, brother, Frank Farmer.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at Helton & Harris Funeral Home, 102 S. Indiana St. Danville, IN. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow in the Clayton Cemetery. Flowers can be sent directly to the funeral home.
