Dennis Lee Waltz

Dennis Lee Waltz, 69, of Crawfordsville, IN passed away the morning of December 23, 2022 at I.U. Health West Hospital.  He was born in Martinsville, IN on June 3, 1953, and was a son of the late William Lee and Clara I. (Malicoat) Waltz.  He grew up in Danville, and graduated from Danville Community High School with the class of ‘72.  Dennis worked several years with R.R. Donnelly & Sons, out of Crawfordsville, as a Bindry worker, and later, a painter with Phoenix Fabricators in Avon.  Dennis enjoyed fishing and hunting, and playing softball and bowling.

Dennis is survived by a son, Adam L. Waltz of Jamestown, IN; grandchildren; Austin, Morgan and Macie Waltz; great grandchild, Lennon Niner; sister, Janice Sams of Culleoka, TN; brother, Randy Waltz of Danville, IN; nieces, Magan Stull of Mooresville and Michelle McGee of Manchester, KY.  In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by 3 half-brothers, Billy, Robert and Richard Waltz.
