David A. Clark

David A. Clark, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away the evening of Saturday, March 18, 2023, surrounded by his family.  He was a proud son of the late Henry and Eva Clark.

David was a graduate of Danville High School, and later he joined the United States Navy. After four years serving his country, David returned to Danville and began his career in banking and finance while continuing his education.  David graduated from IUPUI, achieving his MBA.  He obtained additional degrees and education from Notre Dame, Indiana University, and the Wisconsin School of Banking.  David continued to further his career with licensure for investments, insurance, and financial planning.  He was a very disciplined person, not only pushing himself mentally with the work he enjoyed, but also physically, as an avid marathon runner and cyclist.

In addition to his parents, David is predeceased by two brothers, James Clark, and S. Bradley Clark.  He is survived by his daughter, Candice; two granddaughters; brothers, H. Robert (Cynthia) Clark, and Thomas (Myra) Clark; sister, Carol (John) Stafford, and sister-in-law, Judy Clark; also missing David are several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A private, family memorial service will be held.  David battled Lewy Body Dementia for the past several years and would have been honored by anyone making a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association http://act.alz.org.   Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.heltonandharrisfuneralhomes.com.
