William T. "Bill" Harrell

83 of Clayton, died August 27, 2017 at his home. Services will be held at 12 noon, August 30, 2017 in Harmony Baptist Church with visitation from 10 am until time of service. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery at Cartersburg, Indiana.

"Bill" was born September 16, 1933 in Indianapolis , a son of Charles and Irene (Barker) Harrell. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Indianapolis. "Bill" married Mary Lou (May) June 19, 1954, she survives him. He had been a switchman for the former Indiana Bell, Ameritech, and currently AT&T for 39 years, retiring in 1994. "Bill" was a member of Harmony Baptist Church of Avon. He served his country as a combat engineer in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mary Lou, daughter, Theresa(David) Hatfield-Danville, Cindy (Roger) Clouse-Poland, In., 2 grandsons, and 4 great grandchildren. "Bill" was preceded in death by a sister.
