Terry Cote

Terry Jo Coté, 70, of Hazelwood, Indiana, passed away at home surrounded by family on May 30, 2026, due to complications from Type 1 diabetes, which she lived with for 63 years.

She was born on September 25, 1955. Terry graduated from Northwest High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the Class of 1973.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret A. Owen and William J. Owen.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Coté; stepdaughters, Jennifer Fernandez, Angie (Mike) Rossok, and Lisa (Drake) Johnson; and grandchildren, Seth Fernandez, Zackary Fernandez, Jacob Ross, Jaren Rossok, Jared Fernandez, Noah Fernandez, Jayda Fincher, Brystol Rossok, Bryar Johnson, and Harper Johnson.

Visitation will be held at Helton & Harris Funeral Home, 102 S. Indiana St., Danville, Indiana on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place the following day at 11:00 a.m. at Clinton Falls Cemetery, 3698 N. County Road 600 W, Greencastle, Indiana. Pastor John Wallen of Clinton Falls Church will officiate.
