Shirley J. (Crawford) Grounds

Graveside services for SHIRLEY J. (CRAWFORD) GROUNDS will be held at 11 am Thur., Oct. 5 at New Maysville Cemetery with viewing there. There will be no visitation prior.
Shirley was born in Lizton a daughter of William and Gladys (Russell) Crawford. She was a graduate of New Winchester High School. Shirley married Dennis "Dennie" Grounds on June 13, 1966, he preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1977. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in and mowing her yard.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Grounds of Martinsville, two grandchildren, Dennis Mink of Hadley, Amanda Napier of Belle Union, 6 great grandchildren, and a brother, Gene Crawford of Metamora. Shirley was preceded in death two brothers and a sister.
