A memorial "Celebration of Life" service will be held at 4 pm Sun., Jan. 28, 2018 in WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE, with visitation there from 2 pm until time of the service. Family and friends are invited to come, gather, and share Randy's life with each other.
Randy was born in Indianapolis to George and Beverly (Larison) Morphew. He graduated from Danville High School in the class of 1974. Randy married his former wife of 29 years, Gayle (McDonald) Thomas in 1979. He was a former car salesman for Danville Chrysler/Plymouth,
for 5 years and had retired from Duke Energy in 2015 after 20+ years as a dedicated customer service representative of excellence. Randy was beloved by all his family and friends, having a "heart of gold", he was always there to listen and put a smile on their faces. He enjoyed cars, fishing, woodworking, cooking, reading, and working-out daily at the Plainfield Gym & Tan.
Survivors include his mother, Beverly, and daughter, Monica Morphew, of Danville, a brother, Myron (Lori) Morphew, of Peoria, AZ., former wife, Gayle, of Danville, and "grand-dog" Otis. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, enjoy a "Mexican Dinner" in memory of Randy, which was his favorite dinning.
