Paul, 79, of Avon, passed away early Monday morning at Avon Healthcare. He was born in Jewett, Illinois to the late Donald and Allie Lucille (Hutton) Hensley. Paul was a graduate from Remmington (IN.) High School with the class of 1959, and later graduated from the Bailey Vocational Technical College in St. Louis, MO. He married Joy "Ann" Cudworth Jan. 20, 1963. Paul had been a diesel mechanic with Ryder Truck Leasing Company in Indianapolis for 37 years, retiring in 2007. He served his country with the Indiana National Guard.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, "Ann", children, Amanda (Jim) Ray of Plainfield, David (Kerry) Hensley of Avon, Daryl (Molly) Hensley of Avon, 5 grandchildren, brother, Richard Hensley of Indianapolis, sisters, Norma Rhoades of Goodland, IN., and Kathy (Bob) Budreau of Lebanon. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be given to the Indiana Parkinson Foundation, 14350 Mundy Dr., Suite #181, Noblesville, IN. 46060 in memory of Paul.
Due to the COVID-19 VIRUS situation, private graveside services for Paul will be held Friday, June 12, 2020 at Clayton Cemetery.
