Mollie (Collins) Lester

86, of Danville, died August 8, 2017 at her home. Services will be held 2 pm Friday, with visitation from 11 am until time of service at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME in Danville.  Burial will take place at K of P Cemetery in Lizton, Indiana.

Mollie was born March 1, 1931 in Duffville, VA., a daughter of Bramon and Kallie (Rothen) Collins. She married Paul D. Lester, Sr. December 6, 1952 in Bristol, VA. Paul preceded her in death October 23, 2016. Mollie had been a cook at the Hendricks County Home for 30 years before retiring.

Survivors include her children, Linda (Richard) Bogle, Sr., Paul D. Lester, Jr., and Peggy (James) McElhany, all of Danville, 5 grandchildren, Patricia Shelton, Doug Nichols, Kim Smith, Richie Bogle, and Christy Bogle, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A grandson, John Bogle, preceded her in death.
