Mark Edmond Niehoff, 69, of Avon, IN passed away on October 16, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 3, 1956, a son of the late Edmond and Martha (Kirkpatrick) Niehoff. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his older brother, James Niehoff.

Mark grew up in Danville, graduating with the class of 1974. He pitched for the baseball team and later played in softball and bowling leagues. Mark graduated from Indiana State University in 1978. He loved music and was a real fan of the Beatles and Paul McCartney. Mark loved to make people laugh with his bright sense of humor. He was a dog lover and would volunteer with rescue shelters.

Mark is survived by his sister, Janet Niehoff and brother, Daniel Niehoff both of Danville, sister-in-law Susan Niehoff of Indianapolis; his niece, Sarah Niehoff of Indianapolis and nephews Matthew Niehoff of Greenwood and Walter Niehoff of Indianapolis. Also missing Mark is his faithful, four-legged companion, Wendy, and many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Helton & Harris Funeral Home, Danville, on Tuesday, October 21, from 4:00pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm.
