Kenneth L. Rasnake

Kenneth L. Rasnake, 83, of Coatesville, Ind. passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023.  He was born in Indianapolis, Ind. and was the son of the late Ralph Rasnake and Valeria (Reed) McCord.

Kenneth was a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors and worked as an elevator technician for 33 years.  He loved animals and nature, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.  He and his wife of 61 years attended New Winchester Christian Church. Kenneth loved his family and loved God, who’ve been by his side as he’s battled cancer for the past 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Lou (Burris) Rasnake, their 3 sons, Brad (Sandi) Rasnake, Gary Rasnake, and Mike Rasnake; daughter, Marianne (Garland) Barber; grandchildren, Kasandra (Donny) Miller, Kendra, Nathan, Wesley, Danielle Rasnake, and Britney McMahan; great-grandchildren, Hadley and Kinsey Miller, Korbyn Rasnake, Tyler, Andy and Lucas Miller, and Charlotte Speck; brothers, Ralph Rasnake, Jr., and Richard Rasnake; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the New Winchester Christian Church, 53 SR-75, Danville, IN 46122. Burial will be at 3:00 PM in Zionsville Cemetery.
