Memorial services for JACK R. MATTHEWS 69, of Plainfield formally of Hammond, In. will be held at 2:00 pm Sat., Jan. 14, at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME CLAYTON, with visitation from 12:00 noon to time of service.
Jack was born October 17, 1947 in Hammond, Indiana to William Earl and Rosemary(West) Matthews. Jack married Judith "Judy" Sherry on March 15, 1972. He worked for Rolls Royce in Indianapolis as a Machine operator for 18 years retiring in 2013.
Survivors include his wife Judy of 44 yrs, 2 sons, Jeff (Stacie) Matthews of Clayton and Jay (Erica) Matthews of Sheridan, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.
