Donald Covey

Donald Wayne Covey, 90 of Danville, IN went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2025. He was born to Kenneth R. and Hazel (Coons) Covey, July 22, 1935 in Avon, IN.

He married Kathleen Grace Van Meter May 20, 1956 in Metamora, IN. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957 in Korea. He lived in Hendricks County and was a farmer for 25 years then went to work for Danville School Maintenance for 31 years.

He is survived by his spouse, Kathleen Covey; children, Connie (Jerry) Sparks, Cathy (Jack) Willard, Mike (Karrie) Covey all of Danville, IN; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Helton & Harris Funeral Home, Danville, on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in Mill Creek Church Cemetery, Danville, IN. Memorial contributions may be made in Donald’s name to the American Cancer Society.
