Diana L. Hansel

Diana, 62, of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly at her home early Monday morning. Per her request, a cremation will take place with no services planned at this time.

Diana is the daughter of Ralph Wessel, and the late Lena (Flinta) Wessel. She graduated from Ben Davis High School. Diana married Timothy Hansel July 9, 1988, he also has preceded her in death May 26, 2003. Even with all of her health issues, Diana was a true example of a loving mother and wonderful homemaker. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church and a former member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Plainfield.

Survivors include her father, Ralph, children, Ryan (Samantha) Hansel of Danville, Tiffany (Michael) Leisure of Alabama, grandchildren, Gavin, Nicoletta, Benjammin, and Konner Hansel. Also surviving is a brother, Ralph Wessel of Portland, Tennessee.
