Darlene Keller

On January 8, 2025, Darlene passed unexpectedly in Danville. Born on May 13, 1954, she was the youngest child of Don and Violet Morgan Keller. After graduating in 1972 from Danville High School, she attended Ivy Tech for two years, studying architecture. Darlene worked over 20 years at the Hendricks County Home in Danville and later at Park Square Manor in Avon. During tax season, she worked several years as a tax preparer at H&R Block in Plainfield. Of her many interests, she loved horses, always had a dog or cat and enjoyed gardening, spending countless hours planting spring bulbs, especially daffodils, around her property. 

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Don in 2003 and Violet in 2015. She is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Hudkins, niece Kathy (Duane) Davies, nephew Brian (Lisa), three great nephews, Brandon, Bryce and Brock (Kelby) Hudkins, a great-great niece, Presley, in addition to an uncle, Ancel Keller of Cloverdale and many Keller and Morgan cousins. 

Arrangements made by Helton Harris Funeral Home, Danville. Graveside services will be held at a later date with burial at New Winchester Cemetery.
