Charles Nathan Stone

Charles "Chuck" Nathan Stone, 41, of Stilesville, IN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 3, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1982 in Anderson, Indiana, son of the late Dale and Pamela (Page) Stone. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Stone.

Charles grew up in Clayton, Indiana and attended Cascade High School. In 2001 he enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. Recently, he was a Master Sr. Maintenance Technician with FedEx, and owner of Stone Seal Coating and Asphalt Maintenance. 

Any spare moment he had he spent with his son and best friend, Aiden. Together they enjoyed going to the lake and watching movies. Charles also enjoyed riding his street bike, off-roading in his Toyota and tinkering with tools, working on his truck. 

Charles is survived by two children, Brianna (Corbin Helton) Dorgan, and Aiden Nathan Stone; four grandchildren, Heavenly, Landon, Luke Dorgan and Leland Wesley; also missing Charles are uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 4-6:30 PM at the Helton & Harris Funeral Home, CLAYTON, 4712 Pennsylvania St. Clayton, IN 46118. A funeral service, with military honors, will follow beginning at 6:30 pm.
