Sharen Lee (Brown) Singleton

Sharen L. Singleton, 83, of North Salem, passed away at the Villages of Avon Health
and Rehab on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born on September 26, 1940 in
Mansfield, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late, George and Lois (Green) Brown.
Sharen grew up in Parke County, Indiana, graduating from Bridgeton High School with
the class of 1958. Later she completed her degree in Nursing. Sharen enjoyed
crocheting and reading books, especially those by James Patterson.
In addition to her parents, Sharen is preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Lynn
Singleton-Adler. She is survived by her son, Wayne A. (Terrie) Singleton of Wye Vista,
Arkansas; 7 siblings, William R. Brown, Sona Brown, Marshia Stippich, Judy
Montgomery, Ronald E. Brown, Donna Bunn, and Tracie (Charles) Thinnes. Sharen
also had many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A celebration of life is scheduled on November 11, 2023, at the Bainbridge Community
Center from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Online condolences may be offered at
