Delores Jean Shuler

Delores Jean Shuler passed away peacefully in her home on August 19, 2023. Born on November 1, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN, she was the second youngest of her many siblings. She began working at a young age and learned to love her workplace. Delores was dedicated to excellence in her work, starting as a cashier at G. C. Murphy’s on Fountain Square and ending her career as the controller at Muesing Management. She cherished her coworkers as a second family, but her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the heartbeat of her life.

She is survived by her children Linda (David) Sewell and David (June) Shuler; her grandchildren Kristina (Adam) Cook and Kayla Sewell; and her great-grandchildren Noah, Levi, and Emma Cook.

Her celebration of life will begin with a public visitation at 11AM and a funeral service at noon on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Calvary Chapel of Danville, 2165 E Main Street, Danville, IN 46122. Burial will be private.  Memorial donations may be directed to the American Lung Association. She was a lifetime supporter of this cause.
